  • Construction of new, state-of-the-art medical office building (MOB) within an active retail plaza
  • Managed an aggressive 11-month schedule
  • Utilized pre-fabrication and design-assist procurement for multiple building components

The new Health Care Center, Westwood provides Brigham and Women’s Hospital the ability to provide world-class, accessible healthcare in a strategic suburban location. The two-story MOB accommodates primary care, urgent care, radiology and lab services, orthopedics, dermatology, obstetrics and gynecology and a multi-specialty clinic offering cardiology, gastroenterology, endocrine and neurology services.

The building features a high level of sustainability with a panelized rainscreen system and curtain wall exterior. Scope also included considerations for future expansion, sitework, construction of an infiltration system and parking and drop-off areas. The project utilized design-assist for the curtain wall façade as well as pre-fabrication for multiple building components in order to ensure quality and deliver budget and schedule efficiencies.
